Cancellation Policy

When tutoring courses are booked, the payment will be due for the duration of the course.

All tutoring courses (apart from one-off or fixed term courses) are considered ongoing with payments running for 12 months.

After the initial 12 months, the payments will auto-renew.

You can cancel any booked tutoring course by emailing us at tutoring@myhelm.club.

All cancellations need to be submitted either by email or in writing with a 4 weeks’ notice period being given.

Why must I give 4 weeks notice?

When a child is booked onto a course, a slot for the entirety of the course is put aside for the child. As we have a maximum tutoring session capacity, if children could leave with no notice, it would be hard to fill the slot.

Why are the tutoring sessions ongoing?

Due to the huge subject matter in each course, and the continued support and help to the pupil, tutoring sessions are ongoing. Where there is a limited subject matter, this will be shown as a limited course.

Is there a cancellation fee for cancelling a tutoring sessions?

No, we do not charge a fee for cancelling tutoring.

What charges are taken at the time of booking?

For all tutoring courses, we take a months deposit in advance. We may also charge a small online booking fee. There will not be a debit in the last month of the booked course due to this.
